About Me

Welcome to my private practice!  I have been counseling children, adolescents, adults and families for over 23 years.  My work experience includes community mental health agencies, schools (at all levels) and, since 2008, private practice. While I provide counseling for all ages, I specialize in counseling children and teenagers using play and expressive therapy.  This means that in addition to providing typical "talk therapy", I utilize different ways to approach issues in counseling including using toys, sandplay, music, art etc...  Being a Registered Play Therapist-Supervisor (RPT-S™) means that I have met all the requirements by the Association for Play Therapy to practice and supervise play therapy.  This includes extensive training and practice.
